Outreach

We strive to proclaim the Good News of salvation in Christ through our personal witness and through outreach activities that introduce our community to the Orthodox faith. We also endeavour to show God’s love to the suffering and needy through financial, practical and prayerful support of charitable and missionary work, both locally and around the world.

One mission activity supported by our parish is the Orthodox campus ministry at the University of Ottawa, where Fr. Maxym offers students opportunities for spiritual direction, fellowship, and the study of the Orthodox faith. Father has an office on campus at 319 University Centre (tel. 613-562-5800, ext. 4542).
